High Energy Efficiency The Accurpress Hybrid machines use a combination of hydraulic and Servo Drive systems to control ram motion resulting in dramatically reduced energy costs. There is no hydraulic pump, meaning no energy consumption when the machine is at idle and the counterbalanced return stroke requires almost no energy to raise the ram. Low Noise The Hybrid is the quietest Accurpress machine available. With no hydraulic pump, shop noise is reduced significantly. Reduce Maintenance Hybrid machines eliminate many of the conventional hydraulic components including large hydraulic oil reservoirs. This effectively lowers long-term expenditures requiring oil changes and general wear and tear on hydraulic components in order to achieve ultimate machine accuracies for decades of press brake usage. This smart and accessible machine has so much packed into the frame that whatever forming challenge you have in mind, it’s got you covered.Featuring: Rugged Build: Our 60-ton Hybrid design is the heaviest single-cylinder machine on the market, making it the toughest and most durable machine of its kind. 12” Throat: A large side depth increases flexibility with forming larger parts. Light Curtain Guarding / Ram Motion Initiation:Intuitive Machine Controls: The powerful and easy to use Vision Control comes standard and mounted on a pendant arm. Wila Clamping: All Hybrid models come standard with either Wila NSCL1 New Standard Pro or ASCL1 American ram clamping systems. 4 and 5 Axis Premium Backgauge: Specifically designed for the 60-ton machine, the 4-axis CNC backgauge (X, R, Z1/Z2) comes standard with three-finger rests and the full range of motion across all axis. Optional 5th Axis (Rotation) model available. Off-Center Bending: The Hybrids advanced hydraulics allow for part forming (reduced tonnage) off the ends of the machine, removing “center only” forming restrictions. Material Compensation: Material Thickness Sensing, Teach Crowning and Pressure Compensation all provide real-time positioning adjustments based on material variance. Featuring: Four Point Ram Guide Ways: The Four Point Ram Guiding System allows for stable ram movement even with larger open heights and stroke lengths. The Ram moves freely up and down via 4 hardened Roller Ways. 16” Throat Depth: A large side depth increases flexibility with forming larger parts. Rear Safety Door: The backgauge area is completely protected via sliding doors and safety interlock switch. Vision Control: The powerful and easy to use Vision Control comes standard with all Accell Hybrid models. Optional Moses upgrade is available. Bed Prepped for Front Supports/Sliding Rail: The bed of the machine is prepared for the optional sheet followers and linear rail system to be installed. Backgauges Premium Backgauge The Premium backgauge is Accurpress’ standard backgauge, available for all makes and models of Accurpress press brakes. Available in lengths from 6’ to 24’, the Premium backgauge is built with large section extrusions and roller carriage castings that maintain strength and accuracy over the life of the machine. This backgauge is easily serviced and maintained and comes with standard X, R, Z1/Z2 powered Axes. 60 Ton Hybrid Premium backgauge The premium backgauge for the 60 Ton Hybrid machine comes with standard 4 axis (X,R,Z1/Z2) backgauge. This backgauge can be upgraded to include a 5th rotational Axis. This option is ideal for angled gauging required for some parts. Elite Backgauge The Elite backgauge offers full 6-axis part gauging via 2 independent gauging platforms that are mounted on a linear rail on the back of the bed. This rugged and accurate design combined with flexible gauging options and competitive pricing makes the Elite backgauge your first-choice in 6-axis gauging. Supreme Backgauge The Supreme backgauge is Accurpress’ 6-axis gauging system that meets the challenges of today’s complex sheet metal parts and fast-paced production environments. Constructed from a one-piece rugged steel platform that is isolated from machine ram movements, the Supreme backgauge maintains its accuracy and strength over the lifetime of the machine. Note: The Titan Backgauge is available for larger Accell H models. Please reference the Accell HT line for information on high tonnage machines. Options Premium Sheet Supports.png Premium Front Support Arms: These front support arms come in 24” and 36” lengths and are fully adjustable for different tooling heights and thicknesses. The bottom Foot Disk allows the operator to easily adjust the height of the support arm while the top support piece can be adjusted front to back depending on the desired position. These support arms are mounted on a linear rail for the smooth and accurate positing left to right on the press brake. Both sizes feature angle gauging, squaring bars and disappearing stops. Sheet Followers: The Accurpress Sheet Following System is a move-able support table that lifts and supports material during the bending motion. It is fully synchronized with the ram bend speed and desired angle and can support a load capacity of 500lb per sheet follower. Descent speed and activation of the Sheet Following System are fully programmable by the operator. Barcode Reader: Two models available: Paper-read and paper-read/barcode etched in metal. Tandem Mode (ALL Models): All Accell Models can be installed in Tandem, where two or more machines operate as one. During operation, the machine controls are electronically connected to exchange information for fully synchronized forming. This flexible package offered by Accurpress provides the press brake operator the luxury of choosing single machine operation or tandem via a simple selector switch. Light Curtain Guarding: Optional light curtain guarding is also available for all Hybrid machines. On the 60 ton, the light curtain acts as a safety guarding device and also initiates ram motion (PSDI). For the 120 and 190 ton machines, the light curtain acts exclusively to initiate the ram motion (PSDI). Accurpress Crowning Die Holder: The Accurcrown system is available for all Accell models. This Crowning Die Holder is manufactured with a series of precision wedges providing a uniform crown, which may be adjusted manually or power interfaced to the Accurpress CNC system. Safety Systems Operator safety is of the utmost importance to Accurpress. We offer many options to meet the safety requirements of your forming applications. AP-Adv-SentinelPlus.jpg Fiessler AKAS 3F: The Fiessler laser guarding system is the standard guarding system for Accell H 90 - 500 Ton Models and can be ordered optionally for the 60 ton model in lieu of the standard Light Curtain Guarding system. The Fiessler system transmits 3 lasers across the tooling area and monitors any interference as the parts are formed. In the event of an unplanned obstruction in the laser area, the ram is immediately stopped, thereby protecting the operator. AP-Adv-LightCurtain.jpg Rear Guarding: This is a standard feature for all Accell H models. A metal fixture with a gate and a safety interlock switch is installed and safely blocks operator access to the backgauge area. If the operator needs to access the back of the machine, an interlock switch is installed on the gate that will prevent the machine from turning on when the door is opened. Light Curtain Guarding: The Light Curtain Guarding safety system is standard on all Hybrid 60-ton models and acts both as a safety guarding device and initiates ram motion (PSDI). For the 120 - 190 ton machines, the light curtain can be added as an option and acts exclusively to initiate the ram motion (PSDI).
